When sending ShoutOuts in TeamBuilder, users can choose between two visibility options:
Public ShoutOuts: Public ShoutOuts are recommended as they allow appreciation to be shared and celebrated within the organization. When sending a Public ShoutOut, it can be seen in the following places:
- The company's Activity Feed on all users' Home Dashboard
- If a team is selected, the ShoutOut is posted to the team's Slack or Microsoft Teams channel
- As an app notification (only for the recipient)
- As an email (only for the recipient)
Private ShoutOuts: Private ShoutOuts are visible only to the recipient and are delivered through the following channels:
- As an app notification (only for the recipient)
- As an email (only for the recipient)
By understanding the visibility options for ShoutOuts, you can make an informed decision on how to best share your recognition and appreciation with your colleagues.
