Setting up your profile
Take the time to build out your profile when you join TeamBuilder. Here are a few items you may want to review and update:
- Job title
- Phone number (optional)
- Profile picture or avatar
Learn more about setting up your personal profile here.
Explore your Teams
View your assigned teams on the Home Dashboard and discover fellow team members by visiting each team's homepage.
Engage with User Guides
Fill in your User Guides to introduce yourself to your peers. Keep your tone light-hearted and respectful.
If the Your Teams section on your Home Dashboard is empty, a manager may assign you to a team soon. If you're not on any teams, you may also request your line manager to add you to their team.
Challenges
You can review all current and upcoming challenges for your teams under the "Challenges" section of the TeamBuilder application.
If there is an ongoing challenge available, go ahead and explore it and participate in its activities. TeamBuilder challenges are usually not compulsory but you're encouraged to participate with your team members. Learn more about participating in challenges.
If you see an upcoming challenge, you can check back after the challenge's start date to participate in its activities. We send an email reminder to all participants before the challenge start date.
Send your first ShoutOut!
You can access the Send a ShoutOut shortcut on the top right hand of the application. Think of a peer who has helped or inspired you or your team and send them a ShoutOut they deserve. If you think they lived up to a particular company value or helped a particular team, you can select the value and team to make sure your message gets to their team. Learn more about ShoutOuts.
By following these steps, you'll quickly become an active and engaged TeamBuilder user, contributing to a positive and connected work environment.
